Default 2000 Chevy Blazer Question

I have a 2000 chevy blazer 4.3L,2-Wheel Drive and was wondering am i the only one who has this intake part with one nipple..(see pic).Lemme start from beginning, when i bought this blazer my heater only blows from the vents turning the **** from vent to defroster has no effect. After i searched i found a vacumm line comming from the T that came from fender and was just hanging there and what i found from here and searches that it goes to that part on the intake,Mine only has the big vacullum on top but not the smaller one on the side and it doesnt look like it been broken off..Is it me or does everyone have the two nipple one.Hope you all can help me on this one,my local junkyard is over 100 miles, wanna make sure first before i go look for one...

**look at the pic what im dealing with, have the top nipple but not side one, your help be appericated**

Single nipple would be for 2WD without A/C. The vertical nipple goes to the PCV valve. If you have 4WD and or A/C, you need the double nipple. Try a local GM dealer or install a vacuum Tee in the PCV vacuum line: Buy Dorman - Autograde Hard Vacuum Tubing Tee 1/8 or 1/4 or 3/8 Inch 47349 at Advance Auto Parts

mine is a 2WD with AC,maybe my motor has been replaced.I did find some numbers on the front of the head when i replaced my water pump, the num were in orange like the kind used in junk yards..The second nipple would affect my air from vent to defrost right?? I did try GM and all they had was the single nipple,do i need to tell them its for a 4wh drive instead of 2wh drive as in mine,,

Yup, motor has probably been changed by a rookie The larger, vertical nipple, is for the PCV valve. The smaller one is for 4WD/HVAC.

Yes, the vacuum line that's missing controls the HVAC actuators in the dash.
