had my blazer for about 18 months wipers started playing up ,sometimes stopping ,moving the plug on wiper motor got it going, sometimes the only way to wipe was to operate wipe lever which i would only get one wipe, not good in pouring rain(we get a lot of rain in southern england).after pulling off wiper arms and getting motor in workshop ,undid 3screws holding cover plate(this can be done with the motor in the car)removed plate ,pins from the plug come up through circuit board solder had cracked round one pin.resoldered all pins just to be on safe side wipers now ok.ps can anybody tell me the max weight the blazer can tow.drove my pro street camaro to the nearest drag strip(santa pod ) did 6 runs drove home 345 miles used £150 of petrol about $ 225 considering using the blazer to tow .i dont drink, dont smoke, just buy petrol .rule brittania

OK, so your wiper problem was solved by following the tech article...?
As far as towing weight, there are a number of threads that go over this. Since you haven't listed your drivetrain configuration, I suggest a search for something along the lines of "GVWR", "max+tow+weight", etc.
