2000blazer LS high pitch noise

Default 2000blazer LS high pitch noise
hi folks, I just bought a 2000 blazer LS. 2 days ago, a problem came up:
when driving, a high pitch noise comes from the engineer area (under hood). higher the speed, louder the noise. The tone is high, and the volume depends on the speed...
any ideas about this?

it could be a squeeky hub assembly, or a abracket from the brakesrubbing on something. i know that was happening on my buddy's '99 grand am.
