2001 4.3 140K new parts wont turn over

alright so I did a comeplete plug swap today and tried to fire again. The plugs this time look different? the last few times they have been a water / oil sludge kinda combo. This time the bank on the passenger side was black & wet with a strong smell of fuel. The bank on the drivers side were fairly clean, they did not have the strong smell of fuel and did not have any of the usual sludge. They drivers die bank of three had a little bit of wd40 but only on the center one. The other two were clean and looked alot like just how they went in, the wd40 was from me when I first found out I had some water intrusion. SO this is a chnage but no fire as of yet?
With no strong signs of fuel on the drivers side bank I am wondering about my injectors?
wiht very strong signs of fuel on the passenger side bank I am wondering if the timing is off?
Just for a change in outcome I sprayed starting fluid into the air box without the air filter to see if this would force a fire? It did chug loudly a couple of times but no good chugging just a couple of loud thumps, louder than usual at any rate???
