2001 Blazer 104k miles / Hard Start
I got a 2001 blazer with the 4.3 Vortec. It’s got 104,000 miles, with a hard start condition. I think the fuel system has been replaced one time before I bought it at 103k miles.
When I start my car first thing in the morning, the car cranks for less than one second before it starts up. I turn the key, and it starts right up, almost too quickly.
When the car sits for a couple minutes before starting it again, it cranks less than 1 second before it start.
But when the car sits for a couple hours during the day at a parking lot and I try to start it, it cranks for 3-4 seconds and then starts.
She always starts up, but what could be causing this? I’m guessing it might be the fuel pressure regulator or the spider injectors, but I don’t have a clue because there’s no engine light or any codes.
Theres no drivability issues or any misfires.
4.3 experts, please help me find out what could be causing this.
