Well I took the Blazer out for a good drive last night and when I got it up to about 55mph I noticed a shudder, almost like a buck. It kinda felt like I was hitting small bumps. I'm gonna drive it again this weekend to see if I can get a better diagnosis.

It looks like this trans is coming out. Anyone tried to rebuild a 4l60e. I think I can do the work, but not sure if I should replace the torque converter and the pump.

Any idea's?

Thanks

OP, does your oil pan have a drain plug?

You will ALWAYS want to replace the torque converter when you install a new or rebuild transmission. All the crap thats in the pan of the old tranny is in the converter too. Same as in the trans cooler which you want to completely flush during the build.
