Exclamation 2001 blazer need help please

just bought used 2001 blazer 4x4 157000 miles, check engine light was is on. they told me it was a misfire code. said it was prob gonna be plugs or wires. truck runs great until at an idle then seems like idle little low maybe little rough idle but not to bad at all. noticed the oil gauge was little low any suggestions or ideas? seems to have lots of power and runs awsome just concerned about engine light and i guess little rough idle specialy in gear after coming to a stop. and concerned about oil gauge thanks.

Read this - my experience with my 2001 Blazer. Low oil pressure and misfire codes can both be related to worn bearings in an engine that otherwise seems to run good. Mine was ticking and noisy lifter after highway driving. Maybe your problem, but also maybe not. Keep it in mind if the engine seems to run good but SES light stays on all the time due to a misfire code. I would like to add that I did not replace any sensors at all during my repairs - even reused the crankshaft sensor. Point is please don't look to blind sensor replacement as a solution.
