2001 BLazer, P/S pump takes a dive?
Had it a couple years, very nice truck, no real issues. It does have the leak where the oil cooler hose goes into the radiator. I have a new radiator for in the box.
Now, the thing sounds like Ford, P/S pump noise. It's a little weird, like a hollow noise?
So if I need to change the radiator anyway, can I just set the A/C compressor off to the side somewhere and pull that whole aluminum bracket gizmo off with the pump still on it? What's the drill on this?

Yes you can remove the whole assembly with p/s pump still attached all the
mounting bolts/nuts/studs are accessible without pulley removal.
in order to change p/s pump from bracket the pulley must be removed using
a pulley removal/install set made for it.
I have done this on my 97 blazer and wife's 2000 blazer and mothers 2001 blazer. radiator must be removed for clearance to remove bracket off of studs.
good luck Zep

Zep,
Thanks for taking time to reply on this. Looks like I'll be doing it this way.
Sorry so slow to reply. Lost track of the thread.
