2001 Blazer - Security light problem
Hi everyone. So a couple weeks ago, I was driving and my 2001 Blazer and the security light randomly turned on. When I got home and turned off my vehicle the light decided to stay on. When I went to drive it again the next morning the light was still on, and I then realized that I had no brakes, as one of the brake lines had busted. Finally got the brake line fixed, and then had to jump my Blazer, as the battery had died. After I got my Blazer running again, the security light continued to be lit up. Also the parking brake light was not on, this is the only other dashboard light that I know of that is not working at the moment. I was just wondering what you guys might think the problem could be.

A security light could be caused by a few different things, but most of the time it is a problem with the passlock sensor in the ignition switch. This most commonly occurs when the switch starts to go bad.
