bOUGHT THIS TRUCK. RAN GREAT. THEN ABS LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON. NEXT THING- I WOULD DRIVE FOR A SHORT DISTANCE AND THE BRAKES ALL LOCKED UP. I CHANGED HUB ASSEMBLY, FLEX HOSES, CALIPERS, BRAKES. NOW IF I JUST MOVE THE TRUCK TO THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY, THE BRAKES ALL LOCK UP. CAN I DISENGAGED THE ABS SYSTEM AT ALL, SO I CAN DRIVE THE TRUCK.=? OR IS THE ABS MODULE NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. IM REALLY TRYING TO GET AROUND THE $1,000IT COST FOR THAT PART.

I am not too sure, but I think there is a fuse for the ABS unit in the fuse panel under the dash, try removing it, and see if it fixes the problem, if its not under the dash fuse panel, it will be located in the under hood fusebox

I already tried this and it didnt work. I will try again. Do you have any other suggestions? I love this truck. She has the vortex engine. No problems at all. Just the abs. I tried finding used ones, but none i found matched the abs module on my truck. I just thought maybe i could disengage the system and enjoy my truck again.

Pulling the fuse should disable the ABS. If it did not work and you still have the problem, the problem lies elsewhere.
Next things that I can think of would be the brake booster or the master cylinder. (I would start with the master)
Also, do you know anyone with a scanner capable of scanning codes that the brakes would throw?

sounds like a brake booster to me - its the big round thing on the firewall - looks like this:

disconnect and plug the big thick vacuum line leading to it (not shown in this pic) - end of a AA bettery would plug it i think - it's towards the passenger side of the booster - like 3/4" outside diameter

don't travel too far or fast!!! this is what gives you power brakes, with it disconnected you should be able to roll along fine and stop if you shove hard enough on the pedal.

I've never heard of the ABS locking up all tires without the brake being pressed before - and the 'all wheels' lock up part is what makes me think the booster is toast rather than a line or caliper (or ABS).

(can a mod do an inline resize on that pic for me?)

That is one of the things I was thinking, But I would start with the master before the booster, but that is me personally.

After you replaced the flex hoses and calipers, did you gravity bleed both calipers before pumping the pedal? If you pumped the pedal first, chances are good there is air in the solenoids inside the ABS unit, (This may be the reason the lights came on in the first place). If that's the case, the only way to get the air out of the solenoids is by performing the Automated bleed with a capable scan tool, then bleed each wheel the normal way, (pumping the pedal).
