If it has been "forever" since tune-up parts were replaced, then good place to start.

If the spider and/or regulator is leaking and need replacing; not a difficult task just requires time and attention to details. The air plenum comes off pretty easily, just need to either label connectors or take pictures for re-assembly.

Let us know what you find out.

Good luck.

Hey Everyone!

Ok, so this kinda threw me for a loop. I went over to my buddies where the Blazer sat after we did the fuel pump. I hooked the fuel pressure gauge up to the truck turned the key to on and let the system prime. The gauge read 60. I was like ok, threw the battery charger on it, turned the key and it fired right up with no hesitation at all. I'm thinking that there might have been air in the fuel system because when I removed the black cap from the fuel test port it looked like air was trapped in there or something. Anyways the truck is up and running. Im going to double check it tomorrow but I think I'm in the clear. Thanks to everyone for your comments!!!! And for making a newbie to the forum feel welcome!! THANKS!!!

Well some good news, thats great!

Hopefully it was just an air block or something and you will be good to go. I would suggest some short trips in the Blazer to be sure it is fixed before going to far from home.

Give us a report back in a week.
