Post 2001 Jimmy VSS issues

I've been dealing with the same VSS issues as others after transmission rebuild. I've replaced the VSS and confirmed the wiring is good. I'm thinking it's my VCM since it's over 200,000 miles. One thing I was unable to find is the correct pinout for 2001, all diagrams and tips said that the green/black and purple/white wires went to pins 29 and 30 on VCM. 29 and 30 on my 2001 are empty. I traced my VSS wires and they go to pins 20 and 21 on the bottom/red plug. Pic shows this. Hope that helps others. I'll update after replacing my VCM. Any other advice is always welcome, too. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for the tip. Intentional or not, an excellent tip on how not to test a wire.

Sorry for sounding harsh but stabbing through the insulation allows moisture to turn the wire into a green powder that does not conduct electricity.

Sincerely, welcome to the forum and thanks for the useful pin locations. What kind of VSS issues are you having?
