2001 motor mount rt side

Cool 2001 motor mount rt side

I am not puling the motor but, i need to replace driver side mount. day 2 have know idea how to get the motor up any higher. should i pull the other side to get more .

Did both of mine this week ('98 4x4 Blazer). I personally feel you get more lift when you leave the other side attached. That is only because there is so little room between the back of the block and the edge of the firewall. On my '98 I have fuel lines, vacuum lines, etc I have to watch out for also that can get pinched very easily. What are you using to lift the engine? Do you have a hoist or just a jack?
