I've got a 2001 s10 blazer, 4.3.
Just recently the check gages light has started flickering. I checked the other gages, and my oil pressure gage is barely registering.
Is this a problem with the sending unit? If so, does someone have a picture of where it's located? My oil level is where it should be. I am just about ready to do an oil change (mileage wise). I use Valv. Syn.
The engine sounds like it's running fine. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Hook a mechanical gauge to the oil pressure sending unit and see what the pressure actually is.
