2002 light throttle hesitation
Hey guys having an issue with my blazer that I cannot for the life of me figure out, im a ford tech by trade and my truck has me stumped 200k on the motor ever problem that can happen to the truck has been fixed.
you name it its been done, on light throttle theres a hesititation
not always, but its a miss, it jumps around as well
from cyl to cyl. everything reads fine on the scan tool. and never gives me a CEL. only code is an evap code. im stumped!!! anyone ran into this
I know its not fuel that's been fixed... I know they don't like the aftermarket parts.. so delco parts only, just cannot pinpoint the cause UGHHHHHHHHHHH

Camshaft retard out of spec is a possibility. Have you checked fuel pressure and leakdown at the service port AND at the pump? Both places need to be checked. AC Delco cap & rotor? Did you put silicone dielectric on the cap terminals inside and out? Plug wires? AC Delco plugs? As mentioned, distributor bushings and or worn drive gear. Has the injector assembly been upgraded?
just went through this on mine.. pull the cap off and see there is any play side to side on the rotor.. if so White Performance Detail Description just put on in my blazer and runs like a new truck.
