Default 2002 Power window regulator installation

How hard is it to install a new power window regulator? Any info on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Default

Actually it is fairly straight forward - remove the door panel and the factory rivets holding the defective part in - easy to drill out . Use bolts or new pop rivets if available to reinstall replacement regulator . Once You pull the door panel and door liner moisture barrier it will all be revealed .... how are the door lock actuators working ? ...... since You have it open anyway ? My '95 driver's side needs both

Default window stuck down, how do I get it up?

My driver window is stuck down. I removed the panel and moist barrier. When I apply 12.5 DCV to the motor directly, it does not move, but takes current and makes a typical little noise of a motor taking current. Reverse the polarity and does the same. I was going to order a new regulator but my Haynes manual says that I must have the window all the way up before drilling out the rivets. How do I get it up?
