Default 2003 4.3 s10 swap into 2000 blazer

I’ve got a 2000 4wd 5speed blazer with a bad 4.3 and I want to put the 4.3 out of my 2003 2wd auto s10 pick up anyone know what all I need to swap off my blazers motor on to the good motor?

IIRC the 2003 does not have EGR and A.I.R. system is different. This means absolutely everything is used from the 2000 including intake and exhaust manifolds and 4WD oil pan (get a new oil pump pick up tube for 4WD pan as it is different length than 2WD). Use the 2000 knock sensor too, but you will have to adapt it to the smaller hole in the later block. Don't forget to put a pilot bearing in the rear of the crankshaft for the trans input shaft. Take photos before you start and then during disassembly for future refrerence. Don't try to disconnect the EGR tube from the drivers side exhaust manifold on the 2000 engine - just disconnect from intake and work around it

I am doing a similar swap. I have a 2000 Blazer 2wd automatic with a bad 4.3 engine, and want to pull a good engine from a 2003 Blazer 2wd 5 speed manual.
I understand that the knock sensor thread on the engine block will need to be drilled out for a bigger hole for the different sensor.
The fuel injectors seem to be different too, as well as the EGR system, and will need to swap the intake and exhaust manifolds from the 2000 engine.

Does anyone know if the crank and cam position sensors are different, and if anything else is different? I heard the bolts that hold the engine and trans bell housing are different thread between certain years.

Thanks.

the crank sensor, cam sensor, and bolts are the same. 2003 Injectors are an upgrade for the older injectors. Other than the injectors use all 2000 stuff on the 2003 engine.
