I am currently working on a 2003 blazer which starts hard and is running rough with black smoke coming out of the exhaust. Changed the mass air
because it had a code for it and it went away. It has new fuel pump. I just replaced the spider injectors set today. Started up hard and runs rough with
black smoke. Noticed it did have raw fuel on top the intake when changing the spider today..

Does the intake have injector o-rings in the intake? If so I didn't replace them during this spider replacement. I suspect it still is getting fuel above
the intake for some reason. Any help would be great. Almost for to add that to engine was replaced because it has EGR on the intake. To which
I was told a 2003 blazer should not have one. So I am assuming it is a older engine. I assume its a 96 - 2002 4.3 engine.


One other question. What is poppet on a blazer and does that apply to the 4.3 I am working on.?
