Default 2003 Blazer

I have a 03 Blazer and just the other day my wife and I were driving down the road when we noticed a humming/whirring sound coming from the front left tire area. The humming/whirring gets worse when turning in either direction. There is also a slight vibration along with the noise. I greased up the front grease points and changed the front brakes thinking it was either one of them and it wasn't. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be possibly wrong?

4wd? If so, are you sure it isn't coming from near the center?

check your bearing and or balljoints and bushings. How many miles on the ol' blaze?

If it is coming from the left front wheel area and it is a 4wd, it likely is a bad CV joint.

BTW, *Moving to 2nd Gen Tech* - There are tech sections for tech questions. Gen Chat isn't for tech questions.

I know for a fact that it is not coming from the center cause I can hear the noise and feel the vibration from directly under my feet while driving. I took into consideration the ball joints and bushings but since it only starts when the wheel/axle is in motion that is when I knew it wasn't the ball joints and bushings since they only pivot. I figured it was the CV joints but I was wanting a second opinion. The Ol' Blaze has 87K miles.
