What deck will fit in a 2003 Blazer?
I just took out the crappy old delco speakers from my 2-door, and I have some new ones on the horizon for the rear. The new ones sound great now, and I can't wait to see how it will sound with ones in the back, but I know that I want a deck. I looked on the Best Buy website for it and for the heck of it I put the make and model and all that crap into the thing that tells you if it fits or not and it said that the Alpine I want will not fit. It is the Alpine 45W x 4 CD Deck with MP3 Playback and Detachable Face found HERE. Does anyone have this and how was the instal? Is best Buy really full of it?

All din headunits will fit into your blazer. I'm partial to Circuit City's product, as I'm a Sales & Installation Manager there and we are picking up Eclipse products very soon!
Good luck to ya!!!

I have a friend who can get me a 55% discount at Bestbuy though, so as you can imagine I am partial to Best Buy. That is good that they will fit though, what does din mean?

I'm guessing it's single din, and you need the 1.5 din, so they were thinking it won't fit right off.
Go to Wal-Mart, get a wiring harness and a mounting harness, cost you like $25 total. Wire it up in your home, need help with the wiring, lemme know. I've done 30-40 stereos, including the 10+ I've had in my vehicles in the past 5 years.
Stereos I've installed in my vehicles:
(Contour)
Road Gear (old $100 Wal-Mart CD player)
JVC KD-S600
(Contour-Cougar)
JVC KD-AR8250
JVC KD-LHX500 touch-screen
(Cougar-Bronco)
Kenwood KDC-X579
Some other JVC CD player
Some Aiwa CD/MP3 player
JVC KD-AR5000 touch-screen (favorite)
Clarion DXZ855MP full-color touch-screen
Ford tape deck from '97 Contour
Clarion DRX8275
JVC KD-DV5100 DVD player (current)
Stereos I've also installed:
Pioneers
Blaupunkt
Clarions
Kenwood
Sonys
JVCs
Road Gears
Kraco
Eclipse
One thing, all the JVCs I've owned or installed are still working. I'm sure there are a couple of those others that have gone kaput, though. I've liked JVC, but it's just that I've never had problems with them, maybe the KD-DV5100 I have now, but it should be covered by warranty.
Gonna try and get some more pics of my friend's Audiobahn components and Alpine 9825 today. Here's his page:

Alpine sounds completely awesome with the Audiobahns.

To standardize the design and manufacturing of new replacement radios, car audio or more specifically car stereo manufacturers have begun to design and produce radios around the ‘DIN’ radio body style. This ‘DIN’ radio body style is rectangular (2” high x 7” wide) which can be adapted to virtually every vehicle produced today. One offshoot of this body style called the Double ‘DIN’ radio body style (4” high x 7” wide) is designed to fit certain auto makers radio dash openings which use a larger radio or a combination of radio above a pocket or tray. To understand a little more about these ‘DIN’ radio body styles we need to take a trip to the past and look at a third body style, the original car stereo body style, the “shafted” radio.
