Default 2004 LT Blazer, fan Switch not working

Hello to the forum, have a daughter out of town and her 04 Blazer 4dr ac is not working, she said the fan switch does not do anything, it was working on 1 and 4 but now nothing, I'm not sure if the unit is turning anything else on at this point but I know the fan is inoperable.

Because the switch would operate in two positions for about a year (didn't let me know of course) I'd presume it's a bad switch.

Any known issues with the Gen2 AC, fan switch, or other issues with climate control. A link to how to remove the switch would be good as I'm in FL she is in KY and well, phone tech is tough, If it pops right out, and there is a test we can do, or if there is a place like LMC to get a good deal on a switch or is this a dealer part. (IE Salvage yard LOL)
Thanks!

Should jut need a blower motor resistor, seen them always have the same sign of failure in multiple makes, 2&3 stop workin then quit all together. it should be directly behind the glovebox or under the kickplate directly below not too sure wich way you can get at it. simple fix too one plug three screws and its out. you can get them just about anywhere only like 15 bucks or so.
