I see threads here about 2005 2-door gas tanks with no real answers. I have a tank with a broken vent valve and you'd be lucky to find one here in canada that the sending unit ring and tabs arent rotted and rusted to the point you cant get it out without breaking the tabs that hold the sending unit in place. I see steel tanks forsale with the vent on the side but it's not a valve. I'm guessing they will have issues if they are installed without the venting valve ? Is there anything that will work out there ? Or Do I have to keep searching for a tank from the scrapyard ? I also read that the sending unit for the steel tanks are different ? I can't believe how difficult it is to find something that will work that's decent and will work for my application. Thanks in advance for any advise.
