I have an '05 and the speedometer stopped working. For a short while I was able to "bump" the ignition switch (engine shutdown) back down to zero and it would work OK for a couple days, but it finally "checked out".
Is this something I can fix easily myself or should I be taking it to a dealer?(if there are any left!!).

I can't believe I'm the only person who has dealt with this so here's how I resolved it.
I ordered a rebuilt exchange instrument cluster from digital dash solutions on eBay and changed the cluster out.
There is also a solution by replacing the stepper motors in the individual instuments, but I also understand that you need to have a way of calibrating the gauge afterwards.
At any rate....that's the rest of the story.
