yeah i love the sound of a gear drive and they perform better but i guess most people aren't real gear heads so they probly will never put one in anything stock.... i didnt think it would work with the balance shaft setup.... does anyone know if they offer one at all???? gonna do a moderate perfomance rebuild in a few months and would love to have one

No.
Blocks are completely different.
Not to mention, 4.3 is a 6 cylinder, small block is 8. Different gearing (number and size of teeth) to allow for timing.

If you you could get it to install and work in terms of running the cam you would have a heck of a time getting the engine to run right. Knock sensors do not get along well with the harmonics produced by a gear drive.

The small block and the 4.3L have a lot more in common than you would think. The 4.3L is just a 3/4 350; that is, a 350 with 2 less cylinders. I believe that the early 4.3L's used the same pistons, rods, lifters, springs, push rods, rockers, etc that the small blocks used.

After I typed that reply, I went looking through Jegs On-line catalog to see what I could find.
Although they listed a set for SB fitting 262-383blocks, when I clicked into it, all that was listed was 265 thru 350 blocks (not the 262 V6). Perhaps the manufacturer is doing a CMA in case someone would blow up a V6.
