Default 4.3L issues

A couple times in the past 2 weeks I have gotten in my truck, at night, and while driving the truck doesnt want to stay running. I can keep it running but it I let my foot off the gas it dies. It will start right back up but still have the same issue. Then I come out in the morning and it runs fine....stupid truck lol. Anyway, I was thinking that maybe the 02 sensors should be replaced or maybe I havea clogged cat. Anyone wanna give their input?

How does it accelerate? If it accelerates fine, then your cat is likely not the cause.

How long does it have to run before you start experiencing this problem?

When was the last time you cleaned your EGR valve? Do you have a screened EGR valve gasket?

Yeah, I was going to direct you to the Tech Article (DIY) section where I think it is covered. Let us know if that helps/works.
