4 Fuel Pumps Later
I have replaced the fuel pump on my `96 Chevy Blazer T10 4 times now to finally get a Delco from Carquest, after them swapping 3 of the general ones out, and having me put a piggytail wiring harness on.(Waste of time, but hey, they were trying to ehlp me to.Now I have Installed the Delco Pump & fuel filter. Everything seems fine now, maybe a bad run was on the general pump. But now I notice that the RPMS kick up a couple of notches as though the accelerator is being pressed. Literally just idling up and down on it's own as it sits in park. Someone please help. Is this a fuel injector issue? Or am I back to the fuel pump issue?
Second issue... My lights were flickering until I took the drl fuse out of the glove box. This stopped the ticking going on from the glove box, and stopped my headlamps from having a dull flicker go on. I placed a new fuse in the drls place which caused the tick to occur again and the lights to flicker. I have taken the fuse out again for good. No ticking, no headlamp flicking. Will this be okay to leave out?

RE: 4 Fuel Pumps Later
Wow! Sorry to hear about your bad run of fuel pumps. I guess that with the tank being disturbed so many times that a little dirt could have gone through to the injectors. You could always run a can of injector cleaner through the tank. It couldn't hurt....might help.
As far as I can tell, removing the drl fuse should just disable the drl lights and not create any other problems.
