Default 4wd transfer case

Hello all, I am new to the forum and could use some help pertaining to my 2002 ZR2 Blazer. The trouble i am having is i have a electronic transfer case, with push button 4wd on the dash. I noticed when i push the buttons wether for 4HI-4LO The indicator light flashes and won't stop flashing where before it would stop. By the way it has a automatic transmission.Any ideas? I haven't checked the fuses yet, is it possible this could be the problem? The check engine light also came on. I never had this problem before and very seldom use the 4WD. I changed the fluid in the transfer case this spring. Any feedback will be appreciated, thanks Scott

How many buttons do you have on the switch? I'm guessing only 3 which would mean you have the NV233 transfer case.

If that is the case, I would start by reading the codes in the TCCM provided you have not reset the power to the TCCM lately.
