So i have been having problems with my 4wd and today i finally got time to test some things.
- The transfer case will only shift from 2hi to 4lo. I have read on the forum that this is called an encoder failure.
- on my blazer (2000) it says to test the system you need to connect pin 13 to a ground source and turn the ignition on. I know the connector is under the driver side dash, but which one is pin 13?
-thanks, Tom

so i figured out the testing process and it threw a #2 code. i checked the connections at the transfer case and they looked fine.
So i guess i need a new encoder motor, is there a how-to on the forum for that process?
