Is there a relay for the 4 wheel drive? I have a 2004 4X4 Blazer. I know there a fuse in the fuse box inside the engine compartment, but was wondering if a relay somewhere too?
I noticed when i pulled the 4x4 fuse out of the engine compartment fuse box, the fuse is NOT blown, but the pins that hold it in place look burnt/discolored.
I think I have either a bad encoder motor or TCCM. My problem is it gets stuck in 4HI if I switch it in & out of 2HI to 4HI a few times, or it will then get stuck in 2HI. the lights on the switch stay on, just nothing happens when I press the buttons. It goes in and out of 4LO with no problem.
*The only way to make it work again when it gets stuck is to disconnect and re-connect the battery.

Nope, nothing. The light is still on which shows which mode its stuck in, ex: 2HI, or 2LO, but nothing happens when I press the buttons. No clicking noise, and the lights do not light up for the other buttons. Just the light remains on for the mode it is stuck in.
Once I disconnect the battery and re-connect it, then it works again and I can get it out of 4HI, or 2HI, whichever one it is stuck in.
