4 x4
When I have it locked in it wants to pull to passenger side and the lots barely light up on the switch on the dashboard

Suggest pulling the switch out of dash, carefully separate the halves, reflow the connector solder joints....or actually all of them on the board. See if this helps the lites.
Also check the TCCM connector for corrosion. Behind trim panel on right side footwell.

Now as far as pulling to the right; do remember that 4wd is not really 4wd; both diffs are open style, not posi. Check to make sure the left axle is fully engaged into the diff, not popped-out.
