Default 4x4 issues

Hey fellow GM owners it's an honor to be a part of this family! I have a 2000 blazer and my 4x4 is not working at all. The 4x4 switch on dash doesn't even light up I've checked all fuses and still can't come to a conclusion I even changed the switch itself and nothing. Any suggestions please HELP!!!

Take passenger foot trim panel off to access transfer case control module; remove electrical connector and clean all contacts and then see if 4x4 switch has lites.
