Default 4x4 Lo ok but no hi

I've got a 98 blazer 4x4 that I've had for about a year now. I've used the 4wd before and it worked fine. But that was this summer. It iced and snowed today so I went for the 4wd but it will only go into 4lo. I tried 4hi but got nothing. Tried it in Neutral and on the fly from 4lo. Nothing. No change, no light on 4hi. Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas worth trying?
