u could have a vacuum leak or ur sylenoid under ur battery could be broke. check ur lines and wires starting there. or u could have a fuse out on ur fuse block.

If there is no sound when you push the button, the t-case shift motor isn't engaging. This could be a bad motor, t-case control module (TCCM), or the buttons on the dash. Whenever you hear nothing at all when you push the buttons, start with the electronics. A vacuum problem would be when you hear t-case engagement , the 4wd button lights up, but the front wheels don't turn.

Silver box behind passenger kick plate. You pop up the plastic moulding thats on the bottom door sill then were it comes up were your right leg lays there is a panel that pops off. Dissconect the harrness plugs and put some di-electric grease on those connectors, before you do that dissconnect the battery and check fuses. Leave the battery dissconnected when you screw with the module. Connect the battery and see what happens. Should take ten min. They have had problems with corrosion on those pins. Neg only on the battery will be fine. Of course re-connect the harrness before the battery.

The best diagnostic for electrical issues I've seen is here:
4x4 Diagnostic Truck and Blazer - Zr2USA.com
It uses the dash 4x4 lights to tell you what's wrong, based on how they light up. For your issue, probably if you try this and you can't get any of the buttons to light up, the switch is bad. If the buttons do light up, then you can tell what part of the system is giving you problems.
I like this because it gives you a shot at finding the source of the problem, rather than just throwing money at the different parts that control the system.
