'91 4X4 - 4X4 light question

I have a '91 and the 4X4 drive-axle diagram on the floor won't light up for 4X4, but the little green light does by the lever. The system works good, it's just the diagram that won't light. Is this just simply a bad bulb, or is it something more complex? Thanks

You can try the bulb. But it MAY be the 4X4 indicator switch on the front axle. It has a two prong conector going to it. Thats just a thought. The part(sw3466)runs around $20 at AutoZone.
