Default 4x4 stopped working today

Always worked great. Driving in the snow today in 4 hi. it was wet ,sloppy slush. hit a bunch of slush could hear it hit the floor boards. at the next light it sounded like the muffler was louder???? I thought the slush knocked something loose on the muffler . since the snow was melting at the next light put it back in 2 wheel drive. when we took off it the car wasn't making what I thought was the muffler being louder than usual ?? after we are done shopping get in the car take off, now i cant get 4 hi or even 4 lo to engage.?? did something get knocked off underneath from the slush ????

those are all vacuumed controlled, the snow and slush could have knocked the line off or it could be all plugged up, but first things first check the switch on the dash to make sure thats working good

3 button the wiring harness on the transfer case came loose, there is a small bolt that was loose that holds the harness in place. i still need to tighten the bolt, but i pushed the harness in farther and bingo all is good
