Default 95 4.3 intermediate drivablity problem

I have a 95 S 10 Blazer with a 4.3 Vortec, automatic 4x4.
The truck falls on its face when you press the gas pedal. At idle, part throttle or wide open throttle most of the time it is fine. When the problem is real bad if you hold it wide open it will backfire or just die. It acts like it is not getting enough fuel. No SES light

What I have done.
plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter
MAP, MAF, Temp, IAC, and TPS Sensors have been checked or replaced
Fuel pump and filters have been replaced. fuel injector has been replaced but while I was doing that I checked the wire with a noid light, at first got nothing out of it but then it started flashing but seemed to dim as i would crank the engine over. I am leaning toward a signal problem but not sure where to go from here. Any help would be great thank you.

Do you think it could be a clogged air intake?

Another problem worth considering is that the connections have gotten weak at the injector connector on the CPI spider. This has been a problem that others have reported in the past as well. By replacing the internal wiring harness, they have solved the problem. Something to consider.

Just an FYI, there is no MAF sensor on the CPI motors.

I did clean the connections and pinched the connectors together so the would be tighter.
