How's this non-staring blazer issue unfolding Lanny? Is there a Delco fuel pump in there yet?

Ok sorry for the extreme delay y'all...got side tracked. Lemme get y'all caught up to speed.

New Parts..
Fuel pump ( delco )
Fuel screen
Fuel filter
Spider assembly
Plugs
Wires
Cap
Rotor
Ignition coil
Fuel relays ( both pump and control)
Egr valve
Tps
Air charge sensor
Iac valve

Now it is running and driving with one hitch....I am right back to the original pre failure sympotms....
Waving idle
Pop on idle
Weak idle
Runs very rich
Failed emissions for low idle hpm ( standard reading is 120 on flat idle....my reading was 954 on flat idle) a friend of mine works at the ancora facility and got.me threw the second time but obviously didn't make the problem go away. It just gave me two more years to fix it.

Thinking maybe the stater on the distributer ...should i just got ahead and replace the whole distributor? I can get a reman from advance for 100.....any ideas?

Did you have a vacuum leak to the heater/ac controls on that vacuum hose going into the cab?

Follow the vacuum hose from the ball under the hood, driver's side. Follow it and check for leaks or just plug the hose coming off the engine for now until you get it running.

LannyL81, what do you mean by "the ball under the hood, driver's side"?

On Lanny's 95 model there is a vacuum reservoir (ball) under the hood on the driver's side. In later years...not sure just what year, the reservior was moved to inside the driver's side front fender.

Does this make sense?

Yes. I was hoping you would say this. My vacuum canister is located in the drivers side fender and I think mine is either bad or the hose is bad. This is why I asked the question. Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt.
