Default 95 4x4 Differential Question

At a salvage yard with the motor and transmission out already, can I remove the front differential without pulling the CV axles?

no its impossible I've tried, once you unbolt the front diff there isn't enough room to pull it out with the cv axles still attached. get a 36mm socket and pull the cv's off it should come right out. lol of corse I forgot mine when I went to the junk yard

Yeah, I already got the deep socket. Someone actually suggested that I cut the cv axle to get a shallow 36 on but I chose to purchase the axle nut socket.

thats the easiest way. once you have the cv's off and the mounting brackets you should be able to just drop the diff down
