Default 95 to 96 body swap question

i have a 96 s10 blazer LS 2wd i had wiring issues inside the body. so i went and bought a 95 LT 4x4 with a bad motor trann and transfer case. i took the body off that a put it on my 96 wd frame. my question will the wiring match up between the 2 years? wat im havin trouble with is the blazer starts and runs but it wont shut off by key and brake light stays on and check engine light stays on with key off. has neone done this before?

95 has CMFI & 96 has CSFI. They use totally different fuel delivery and computer control systems and are not compatible with each other. You'll need to keep the engine, wiring harness & the PCM together, (can not separate them) along with all of the sensors and use them with the engine you are installing. The accessory drives & brackets will need to remain with it as well, AC, alternator, PS, etc. Probably be some other wiring issues too. Good luck
