i have a 95 blazer. just recharged the a/c system. sometime when i am driving the a/c stops blowing out and then my wife tells me to let go of the gas and it blows again. it only happens sometimes.

 

Most cars will turn the compressor off when you are really getting on the throttle so the compressor won't build too much pressure. If you are driving normally and it still turns off, you may have too much refrigerant in the system, could have a blockage somewhere in the lines, or your condensor may be plugged up with dirt/dust/leaves.
