Default 95 Blazer Cluster Swap

Hi,

I'm new to the forum. I had a question about a cluster swap. I have a 95 v6 4x4 Blazer and I wanted to know if I could swap another 95 cluster with a tach? I've done cluster swaps before for other cars, but don't know much about my Blazer. I'm assuming I'll have to wire in a tach signal wire as mine doesn't have one. Is it a simple switch or something more involved?

Thanks,

Chris L.

It should be plug and play. Tach signal wire should be in the harness.

Has anyone retrofitted a 98+ into an older vehicle like mine?

Whoa, 1995 through 1997 have a totally different shaped cluster and instrument panel. Might be cheaper and easier to "retro fit" a 98+ vehicle into your budget and garage

Will a 96 work in a 95 or is it year specific?

It will fit, and pretty sure it will work. Check with a boneyard, they can tell you for sure.
