Default Guage cluster swap

I have a 95'LS with no tach in the cluster, if I were to find one in the junkyard with a tach, would it be plug and play? Is there a tach signal wire in the harness already even though the cluster doesnt have one? Thanks.

Yes you can swap the new one in. Just make sure its a 95. I also believe 96-97 should work but I am not certain.
