95 Blazer Fuel Pump Trouble
Whats up guys, its been a LONG time since ive been on the forums. My blazer has now hit 296k and has been running like a champ.
So my fuel pump went out last sunday, i dropped the tank and replaced the fuel pump and i just put everything back together tonight. I drove 1/4 mile and it shut off. When i turn the key the pump doesnt come on. Ive read on youtube and some forums that it could be the fuel relay which is in the glove box. Is that something i should check?
The fuse is fine, im just not sure what else to look for. I feel that its an electrical issue myself. I know all of the connections in the tank and the electrical connection above the tank are tight. Could the trouble be there?
Thanks for the help guys.
Shawn

I guess its possible, but im pretty sure the connections were solid. where would a ground wire be that i could check?
Ill try and find a video on how to check that relay im not too familiar with it.

Alright guys so I changed the fuel pump relay and no go, I think I might need to replace the entire fuel pump assembly. I have a feeling the the electrical connection might be bad on that.
Do you guys know if that would typically need to be changed? I need to drop the freakin tank and use a voltmeter on the connections back there. Man this sucks!!!
