my blazer has those composite headlight housings and both of my headlight housing shake when hitting bumps or small pot hole or a rough patch in the road I have tightened the 5mm bolts that hold them on as far as they will go and I can move the housing by hand a little bit up and down I don't know if someone has installed them wrong or not because they are aftermarket housings they look brand new. a guide on mounting these housings would be great I'll take them off and re mount them if anyone has a guide for it. thanks to anyone who helps

The 5mm bolts aren't for tightening, they're for adjusting the aim.

The factory ones have pullout plastic sliders that you pull up to release the holder studs in the rear of the housings. It's a common mistake on the factory lights to fail to put the tabs at the bottom of the housing into their slots when re-installing, which will cause them to shake around. Pulling them out and reinstalling properly will often fix it.

 

The OP says it's a 95. It would have the square housings. Not the ones shown above.

 

Can confirm, mine is a 95 and has the bigger, square-ish headlights. Still composite, though, not sealed beam
