I replaced the entire spider assembly and the nut kit. Still fuel puddling and washing on the passenger side. I am wondering if a leaking intake valve would cause the fuel to be pushed back up the plenum runner and into the take. It's the only thing that I can think of. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Default I need help!!

The "fuel" puddles will not ignite with a propane torch??? I thought it was fuel because the plenum smelt like fuel inside, it has washed the plenum clean on the passenger side, and the fender well on the drivers side smells like fuel every time the car is parked.

So i am wondering if it could be antifreeze coming from the lower intake bolts that go into the head. Maybe the intake gasket is leaking near the bolts. HELP.

FYI....I have replaced the spider 3 times and just installed a new nut kit for one that I didn't feel was leaking but it was cheap and easy.

The auto parts stores have UV dye for fuel, and another for coolant. Try them one at a time. If you add dye to both at the same time, you won't be able to determine which one is leaking. I'd try the coolant first, then drive it for a couple of days and pull the plenum off.

You are a risk taker for trying to ignite it lol

haha.....I soaked a paper towel in it and then tried to ignite that outside of the engine.

Just got the dye and put it in my son's blazer. I'm traveling for two weeks. When I get back i'll shine a UV light on it and see what I can find.

It's fuel not antifreeze. Can't believe there is enough of PCV gunk to make it not ignite. But the red dye was fuel and the green was antifreeze. Only red showed up. I have to idea how I could have three injectors that leak. I even replaced the FPR on two of them. This is just crazy. Any and all ideas would be appreciated.

oddball chance. Maybe the lower plenum is bad,as in one of the holes the legs plug into, could be warped or chipped and its causing a amount of fuel under load to be blown back into the plenum from the hole. If this makes any sense.
