Can somebody with a confirmed ODB 1.5 system in a ‘95 with the 16 pin connector under the dash please tell me which socket positions have contacts in them or supply a picture?

This isn't exactly what you asked for (because I don't have a '95), but hopefully it will help you.

Thanks for that but the problem is that when guys post their pin outs they often don’t look like the wiring diagrams, mine included and ‘95 in particular was a transition year so there may be more than one configuration. I looked through the forum but can only find pictures of guys who don’t know what they have so I need the pinout of someone who knows for sure that they have ODB 1.5.
