Default 95 s10 blazer 4wd problem

I have a 95 Blazer (4.3L V6) that won't go into 4WD. When I press the push button for 4 high or 4 low, both lights will blink a couple times and then both lights will come on and it won't kick into 4WD. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your suggestion Lrain88, I checked the actuator and noticed that the vacuum line coming off it was cut in 2 pieces (it was melted- probably touched the engine or exhaust). After tracing the line I noticed another break in another line coming off the vacuum plug on top of the transfer case. I replaced both lines and found out that the electrical plug, which is a screw in plug, was not connected either. Needless to say, now I have 4Wd again. Thanks!
