96 4.3 Blazer 4x4 no fire NEED HELP!!!!
I have 96 4.3 liter 4x4. It started with it stalling while driving but it would crank right back up until it wouldn't start up. Replaced the crankshaft position sensor and then no fuel and no spark. Then replaced the distributor, cap, rotor, coil and cam sensor. Still nothing. Here is the list of things that have been replaced: fuel filter, ignition switch, water pump, thermostat, checked all fuses and relays all good. New battery, plugs and gapped correctly to .60, plug wires, the icm was tested at Auto zone and checked out good. The distributor is timed correctly with the 6 on dist. housing and #1 on TDC on compression stroke, lining up with the tabs on harmonic balancer and #1 plug. Replaced ecm and checked the hall effect switch and it's good. Now getting fuel but have no power to distributor and coil. Maybe I'm not seeing it because been working on it for awhile but Im stumped on this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Air, fuel or spark. What could be easier? LOL.
Lets see if we can get you straightened out. Are you getting spark out of the coil during cranking? Is it 1" of strong blue spark? Make sure that you are using a proper spark tester (best) or a well spaced grounded tool of some sort. Is the cadence even?
