96 4dr & low temp gauge reading
Yes, it is a 195 degree t-stat from Napa. Good luck!
I was trying to finish before dark but had to reconnect everything and go to the hardware store for a deeper 13mm socket in order to remove the t-stat cover. Ended up having to buy a work light too lol...

The only downfall I can think of for waiting a week to do the t-stat is that your gas mileage is going to come down. My truck is usually around 17.9-18 mpg on average but with the broken thermostat it was getting closer to 15. Good luck!

Well, I have to wait, because all of my tools are sitting at home. I'm in college, about 90 miles from home. But next week is spring break, so I'll have all the time I need to swap them out. Any chance you could briefly describe what you had to do to change it? I've never changed one of these before, but I'm sure it's fairly simple. My fuel mileage hasn't noticeably changed, I still get 13-15 mpg with my lift and tires.
By the way,the reason one should never over-compensate on coolant is because all coolants gel instead of freeze-but one still needs the thining effect the water gives at even at -70*(the coldest I ever started any gas engine, the battery was kept inside for the night) step66
