Ok so I have a 96 Blazer that is the wifes truck, we got it real cheap so I figured there needed to be some work done. The major thing I have been fighting with is the heat. I am a mechanic by trade and been through plenty of these blazers in the past. I knew that the truck needed a heater core (leaking all over the pass. floor) and also needed a water pump (leaking out the weep hole) I had a store credit @ a parts store so i snagged a new radiator, hoses, and thermostat as well. the blend door and everything under the dash operates as it should. Both heater hoses get hot, water pump is pushing coolant everywhere it needs to, thermostat opens at temp, but still no heat. no coolant smell, coolant system has been purged and burped numerous times. At wits end with this truck. Anyone who has any ideas, please feel free to chime in.
